Hardware, set in
Cross detailing is inlaid metal seated into the acetate. It catches light on its own. Printed decals go chalky in a month — these don't peel, because there's nothing to peel.
Coated, not dyed
A multi-layer anti-reflective stack on both lens faces. It cuts the hard bounce off screens, glass and wet road instead of just dimming everything down.
Weight you can feel
Thick-gauge polished acetate with a keyhole bridge. It sits without slipping and doesn't flex when you fold it. Cheap frames are thin because thin is cheap.
Metal-core hinge
Reinforced barrel hinge, not a plastic pin. The part that always breaks first is the part built strongest here.

No. The cross detailing is inlaid metal seated into the acetate during assembly — part of the frame, not glued to the surface. No adhesive layer to fail, no printed film to flake. Wipe it, sweat in it, drop it in a bag.
It's a bold square silhouette — that's the design, and it's meant to be seen. Check the spec sheet against a pair you already wear. Within 2–3 mm of your lens width, it will sit right. Outside that, message us before ordering and we'll tell you honestly.
They ship as non-prescription lenses. Most optical shops can swap Rx lenses into this frame, but that's a job for your optician — we don't cut prescription lenses and won't pretend otherwise.
There's a hard coat under the anti-reflective layer. Real talk: no coating survives being tossed face-down on concrete. Use the included case and cloth — dry paper towel is what actually ruins lenses, not daily wear.
Return them in the case within our stated returns window and we'll sort it. We'd rather refund you once than have a pair you never wear sitting in a drawer.
